The Great Coastal Walk is a mixture of bush trails and road rambles that lead from Cronulla in Sydney's south to Barrenjoey Lighthouse in Sydney's north. It's only just fully opened.
I did the Manly to Barrenjoey walk a few years ago and it was fantastic.

And here, like every year, are the pictures of what my winning page on the NaNoWriMo.org website looked like:
Note the Purple Bar of Win in the top image! :-)
Though the bar is nice, I prefer last year's NaNoWriMo.org look - a Flash animated book, with a cover and turning pages ...

My Neo has just arrived. I got a pick up notice from Australia Post in the mailbox today and charged down to the local post office.
Thirty minutes later, I'd tested out my brand new Neo, and uploaded the fan-made fonts. Like the font in the picture - Bold. (There's ...

From The Sydney Morning Herald:
"I personally think it's over-the-top paranoia to make you feel scared," said Anthony Miller, manager of the Museum of Sydney Cafe in Bridge Street, which was surrounded yesterday by wire fences, hordes of police and undercover officers.
"On Monday an APEC security officer asked us to limit ...

Will this week ever end? I felt well enough this afternoon to go for a swim at the beach and I left my car keys, wrapped in a light blue microfibre towel, on the beach. When I came back, they were gone. It's the first time something of mine has ...

Dear all,
It's 28 degrees C, not a breath of wind, the cicadas are chirping and the sky is a perfect, cloudless blue. I just got back from a quick swim at the beach. The water was like warm, green glass. Now I'm tidying the house, in preparation for the relatives ...

It was rough in the beach pool at lunchtime.
I'd just entered the water and I was swimming, when a large wave broke over me, and the next thing I knew, the concrete sides of the pool were rasping along my left hand and left knee, my feet were kicking ...

Hot and gorgeous spring day.
Had a picnic at Arney's Beach with Chris, Belinda and Fiona today. There were at least 5 yachts moored at the beach, so it wasn't as quiet as it was last time I was there, but we still had a good time. Fiona looked for ...
