Airport Full Body Scanning

June 8th, 2008 | by Charlotte |

I always get stopped by airport security. Maybe it’s because I’m small and blonde and don’t look like I’d cause trouble. Whatever the reason, I’ve experienced every form of airport security, from bomb sniffing machines (I asked if he’d ever caught anyone, he said no) to metal detectors.

On my way back from London, I was ‘lucky’ enough to experience a new security technology: Full Body Scanning.

And this is what I would have looked like. (The face has been blurred.)

Don’t know why they bothered.

Maybe you should try wearing a disguise?

I wonder how many aircraft will be saved, given that the current rate of them falling out of the sky is about zero. But it is probably better than making every one wear clear plastic clothes. All though…

We’ve got the plastic bags in the cabin. Why not everyone wearing them too?

I shall fly with my eyes shut…
