You are a SRDL--Sober Rational Destructive Leader. This makes you a Mob Boss.
You are the ultimate alpha person and even your friends give you your space. You can't stand whiners, weaklings, schlemiels or schlemozzles. You don't make many jokes, but when you do, others laugh out loud. They must.
People often ...

I bought some King Island yoghurt - honey and cinnamon.
King Island have done it again. It is the best yoghurt I’ve ever tasted. Why do their products taste so GOOD?

I am:Manifestation through will. Imagination, concentration, action. Spirit and Matter united.
A young man raises a doubly terminated wand in his right hand. The wand is held vertically, a tool for the unification of heaven and earth. His left index finger grounds this duality into creation drawing from the original ...

It rained today which put a damper on my plans to go beach hiking.
So my boyfriend and I hiked Warringah Mall instead.
It was fun. I got a new watch to replace the one I lost in the surf. This watch has such a strong clasp I can barely take it ...

My Lexicon submission, an essay called Transformers Fanfic, has finally dropped out of the Top 25 after a year, maybe a year and a half.
Think I'll cry now! ;-(

Drinking: vanilla black tea. It's a bit bitter. I'll go add some milk.
That's the first time I've had milk in my tea at work since the 24th July 2004. I tried to cut down on my milk drinking 'cos I was going through a bottle (600 or so calories!) a ...

I went to the beach at lunch today for the first time this season and I won't be forgetting it in a hurry. As I dived under the first cold wave, I felt my watch loosen on my wrist. I made a grab for it but it was gone. The ...

Fabulister was accepted to Source Forge.
Now to get the files up there!
Also, I had an interesting exchange with Chris, the friend of Belinda who helped me work out what license to choose for Fabulister. Warning: furries beware! ;-)
Charl: Thanks heaps for your help. I did it. I submitted ...

My boss is in Taiwan but he's having trouble visiting customers because Typhoon Aere is keeping everyone at home.
And I thought Melbourne weather was bad! ;-)

From Engadget:
The company GPS Tracks created the Global Pet Finder, which is a GPS collar that automatically sends escape alerts to the pet owner’s cellphone when it’s left a designated area, like your backyard. We’re hoping the next series gets a sleeping dart function, so when poochy is running all ...

I've submitted a request to add Fabulister to Source Forge. It was like writing a university essay. I had to show them what Fabulister was and explain why it should be listed on Source Forge.
Now I've got to wait two days until they come back to me with a 'yes' ...

Petrol was $1.12 per litre tonight. I've never paid more for a full tank. Mentioned Peak Oil to the guy behind the counter. He hadn't heard of it, but suggested we'd simply move to solar and wind power.
I used to think that myself but a bit of research made ...

I've been checking out Source Forge, with the idea of submitting Fabulister. It will mean choosing a license and I'm moving towards GNU GPL because it's 'copyleft' meaning no corporation can steal the code and make it proprietary only.
Now I’ve got to write an essay to Source Forge justifying ...

Fabulister's programmer, Unidian, is back from holidays.
He wanted to know how Fabulister's been going so I've sent him the bug list, all two pages of it.
I hope he can get some of the nastier bugs, such as the new user registration bug, fixed up.

I asked Belinda about open source software licenses and she wrote the following:
I guess work out which license you wish to use - there's the GPL, lesser
GPL or the Berkely (sp) licence that gives you more control over the
software. If Aspell and your text editor are GPL then ...

Belinda sent me the following:
Hmm, a PHP MUD at sourceforge in beta! I wonder if it will allow the
user to do MUSH stuff - couldn't find any docs on the site.
http://sourceforge.net/projects/phpmud/
She's right, there's no documentation or anything else. I guess we'll have to keep an eye on this one.

I'm interested to hear that an Aussie, Glen Murphy, modded Doom 3 so it's possible to hold the torch and the weapons at the same time.
Now they finally have duct tape on Mars! ;-)

It was warm today, 25 degrees C. Very Spring-like.
Went hiking along the rocks between Newport Beach and Bugan with my boyfriend. Veils of rain starting falling to the south and east and we were 100 meters from my car when the rain hit. We ran back but we still got ...

Proving he has finally left his wild puppy days behind him, my dog managed to charm the dog groomers yesterday.
When I came along after work to pick him up, the groomers told me they'd spoken the words 'turn around' while he was being bathed and he obligingly turned around ...
